What we believe about water baptism.

Water baptism was set forth by Jesus Himself. It is a holy sacrament of the church and an experience with God. The Bible teaches that the following happens in water baptism:

  • We die with Jesus (Romans 6:3)
  • We are raised with Jesus (Colossians 2:12)
  • Our hearts are circumcised (1 Peter 3:21)
  • We receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38)
  • We are baptized into the body of Christ
  • We are baptized into Christ Himself (Galatians 3:26–27)
